‘Warmachine’/’Hordes’ Legacy Model Production Ending

For fans of the long running wargames Warmachine and Hordes from Privateer Press, an end of an era has begun. The company has officially announced the end of production on all Legacy models for the games.

This move has been one on the horizon for some time as Privateer Press launched Warmachine MKIV earlier this year. With the Hordes line now under the Warmachine banner, there isn’t a need for two separate lines. Furthermore the company had been slowly moving away from their previous manufacturing practices to be completely 3D printed in house. All of this was brought to a head as they announced a facility move to better accommodate this change in manufacturing.

After Friday (June 16, 2023) Privateer Press will only be able to fill online orders for models they have in their remaining stock.

Also of note, Riot Quest models made in resin will also be retired. Monsterpocalypse and Warcaster will see some models become out of print temporarily as they switch those games to the new manufacturing process.
