Knight Models Teases Burton ‘Batman’

Knight Models have teased what could be the most exciting thing to be coming to the Batman Miniature Game since 3rd Edition- the Tim Burton Batman universe.

The specific teaser that dropped was for an upcoming model with the clue “It's time for a riddle, but be careful, this cat has a long whip...”. Based on the image and and the clue, it is pretty clear to us (and basically anyone who has seen it) that it is Catwoman, specifically the version portrayed by Michelle Pfieffer in in 1992’s Batman Returns. The giveaway is the models seems to come with the Shreck’s department store cat mascot from the film.

With the upcoming Flash movie taking us back to the Burton era with Michael Keaton returning as the Dark Knight, it would make plenty of sense for Knight Models to line up their releases to feature those characters. We’ve also known that they have had some extent of the licensing rights for the all of the original Batman films as they included the models as “skins” for the characters in their previous Escape from Arkham Gamefund campaign. It was just a matter of when as opposed to if the models were coming.

The only question we have lingering in our minds is rather or not this is going to be a small release, as in one or two film-related models, or are we going to get an entire month’s release dedicated to the theme?

Either way, we are beyond excited for what they could be doing with these characters. What about you, dear readers? Are you excited to see these iconic versions on the table top or would you prefer all-new characters not yet made?
