Two New Core Sets For ‘Dark Souls: The Board Game’
Steamforged Games have released two new core sets for their popular Dark Souls: The Board Game - Tomb of Giants and Painted World of Ariamis.
Releasing five years after the original Dark Souls: The Board Game, both of these new titles are fully compatible with the original game line while serving as a jumping in point for new players. Steamforged Games worked closely with the community to create a refreshed ruleset based on player feedback and demand. The updated rules are even available for free on the official website.
Dark Souls: The Board Game - Tomb of Giants allows players to explore the area beneath the Catacombs and come face-to-face with the vile Graverlord Into and its skeleton hordes. Dark Souls: The Board Game - Painted World of Ariamis traps players in a painting to survive the Bonewheel Skeletons and Crossbreed Priscilla.
Both of core sets feature 18 highly detailed miniatures; including a large 80mm boss mini, 13 enemy minis, a mini boss, and 3 characters. Along with the miniatures, each core set includes 4 double-sided game tiles, 3 character boards, 3 token boards, a campaign dashboard, new rulebook, 15 dice, 169 cards, and 2 heath dials.
Tomb of Giants and Painted World of Ariamis are for 1 to 3 players and plays in about two and half hours. They both have a suggested MSRP of $109.95 and are available on the Steamforged Games’ webstore and at your friendly local game store.
