Fight An Angry Chicken In ‘Conquest’

Well this is a bit of an odd one.

Evidently at Adepticon 2023, Para Bellum Games have released a convention exclusive Angry Chicken to be used in Conquest: First Blood.

Admittedly we have not been following Conquest: The Last Argument of Kings, or the skirmish version Conquest: First Blood, as closely as we once did (due to multiple game-related factors), so this one caught us off guard a little bit. The Angry Chicken clawed its way to life as a meme on the official Conquest discord groups. From there is spawned some march and then eventually an actual, printed table top miniature with rules and everything.

The Conquest: First Blood - Angry Chicken Con Exclusive includes two miniatures (because reasons) and a scenario for First Blood. The scenario places the Angry Chicken on a warpath, fighting and killing models from either army that gets in its way. It includes special abilities and rules.

Currently it is only available this weekend at Adepticon 2023 but will be made available at select conventions through out the rest of the year.

Honestly, while we may not be the target audience for the game anymore, we may have to pick up one or two of these if the team at Para Bellum Games make their way to Gen Con 2023. Seriously, what is more metal than a raging chicken on a pile of their enemies’ skulls?
