New Mutants Make Their Debut In ‘Marvel Crisis Protocol’
Atomic Mass Game’s popular Marvel Crisis Protocol is about to expand its mutant population with the arrival of the Emma Frost, aka the White Queen, and Psylocke.
The new characters will be included in a new character pack releasing later this year. Emma Frost comes with two models, one to represent her regular form and the other to represent her diamond form. Given that they both have their own stat card, we are assuming this will use a similar mechanic to the Hood’s demon form. Psylocke is known for channeling her telepathic abilities into a physical “psychic blade”, so it’ll be very interesting to see how the rules differ between that sort of weapon and a regular bladed weapon. Interestingly, the pack will include a Team Tactics card to give Emma Frost the ability to lead the new Hellfire Club affiliation. It’s possible the Team Tactic card will be similar to the Convocation team affiliation card from that was included with the Doctor Strange & Clea set.
Along with the three models, the box will also include three character stat cards, six Team Tactic cards, and three bases. The set will retail for $39.99.
