Jasco Announces ‘My Hero Academia’ Promos For Gen Con 2023

Jasco Games revealed the Gen Con 2023 for the My Hero Academia Collectible Card Game (part of their UniVersus game system).

Players can obtain six alternate art promo cards over the course of the four day event, each one featuring one of the main heroes from the anime in their school uniforms. At the moment, they have not yet announced how attendees can get their hands on the cards, or what the cards are going to actually be reprints of. Last year’s alternate promo cards were a mix of Attacks and Foundations, with the only character being All Might. 2022 attendees received the promos free with purchase of the corresponding playmat (featuring the same fantasy-inspired artwork as the card), demoing the game, or signing up for the MHACCG newsletter. A very limited number of the promos and playmats were made available online for a short while during the convention for those unable to go.

Of course, we’ll be at Gen Con 2023 this year. We are hoping to snag some to give away to our readers and Youtube subscribers like we did last year. So if you are unable to go, be sure to stay tuned to see if we succeed.
