‘High-Flow Airbrush Paints’ Kickstarter From Huge Miniatures
Huge Miniatures are currently running a Kickstarter for a new line of High-Flow Airbrush Paints.
The range of airbrush paints was developed to never require thinning and covers the model in two coats. Additionally the paints are supposed to never dry in the airbrush (something I know we struggle with in other paint ranges).
There are a total of 75 colors available in the range, each coming in easy-to-use 17ml dropper bottles. They include 30 Core Value colors, 15 Natural Tones, 10 Fluorescents, 10 Metallics, and 10 Multicolor. Each of the sets are available to back individually or as an all-in bundle. Each of the sets have a 15% discount during the campaign, with the all-in bundle having an 18% discount. Huge Miniatures is not offering the colors individually during the campaign however.
Along with the paints, they are offering an interesting array of add-ons for backers. The Vegan Brush Set includes three brushes (size 0, 2, and a small dry brushes). There are two different Paint Racks available, one in Acrylic and one in MDF, that hold 41 standard paint bottles. Lastly, they are offering a set of Airbrush Glazes that have 10 paints not available in any of the other bundles.
At the time of this writing, they are currently at $17,800 of their $20,000 goal. The campaign ends on July 24, 2023, so I am confidant they will hit their goal with 11 days to go.
Of the colors, I have to say I’m most excited for the Fluorescents and Metallics. I’ve been trying to add more vibrant, poppy colors to my paint schemes lately so the Fluorescents look like they’ll be great for that. I’ve yet to find a metallic airbrush paint that hasn’t annoyed me, so I’m always excited to try a new line.
