‘Epic Encounters’ Introduces The Dragon Turtle and Crab Archon

Steamforged Games has released two new editions to their Epic Encounters line - Cove of the Dragon Turtle and Island of the Crab Archon.

Cove of the Dragon Turtle

Players will find themselves up against a massive dragon turtle, quite literally massive as the miniature itself has a 110mm base. This Boss Box is meant to offer even the most veteran adventures a climatic battle to end their sessions. The Cove of the Dragon Turtle includes the miniature, a double-sided game mat, Adventure book, monster stats, and various tips and tricks for building your narrative. The box has a suggested retail price of $49.95.

Island of the Crab Archon

The Karkinos are a humanoid race of crab-like pirates and the first non-traditional monsters to debut for Epic Encounters. The warband box offers 7 unique sculpts across 21 detailed miniatures to give players a small army to face off against to get to their leader, the Archon. Island of the Crab Archon includes 21 miniatures, a double-sided game mat, Adventure book, monster stats, and various tips and tricks. The box has a suggested retail box of $54.95.

The Epic Encounters line is designed to be used with any 5e compatible campaign. That makes them ideal for adding a little extra flair to an existing campaign or as the jumping on point for a brand-new adventure. While both of these new additions are able to be played alone, players can combine them for an adventure on the high seas, full of adventure, pirate crabs, and dragon turtles.
