Chronojet Dragon Returns To ‘Cardfight!! Vanguard’ In New ‘Stride Deckset’

Bushiroad has announced the return of the fan-favorite Chronojet Dragon with the Cardfight!! Vanguard Special Series 03: Stride Deckset -Chronojet-.

Releasing February 24, 2023, the Chronoject deck will include a complete 50 card deck and a 9 card Stride deck. There are 14 new cards and 5 reissue cards featured in the deck, for a total of 19 different card types. The set will include Parallel cards at a fixed rate. Each set will include the deck, a short storage box, 15 acrylic Fighter’s Coins, and a Fighter’s Coin custom sticker sheet (featuring 30 stickers). No price point as been mentioned yet.

For long-time players and collectors of Cardfight!! Vanguard, Bushiroad has also announced that older versions of Chronojet Dragon from the V-era of the game can be used in the Standard format as well.

Additionally, for players (and, again, collectors) who enjoy a blinged out deck when playing the game, the deck will be offered in a premium format. The deck will be feature special foil treatments for all of the cards, including a RRR treatment for the main deck and an SP treatment for the G Units. Along with the foil upgrade, the Premium deck will include a large storage box, a special rubber playmat, 5 special top loaders, a special deck holder, a premium display frame, and the previously mentioned coins and sticker sheet. Again, no price has been mentioned at this time.

This is something that we are super excited for. While we haven’t had the chance to play as much of the Overdress-era of Cardfight!! Vanguard, we started in the G-era thanks to the anime on YouTube and listening to the fantastic podcast Drive Check: A Cardfight!! Vanguard Podcast all the time. Chrono and Chronojet have a special place in our hearts and we’re excited to get these in our collections.
