Vs. System 2PCG Is All Elite (Wrestling)
Earlier this week, Upper Deck announced the next big-box edition of the popular Vs. System 2PCG - AEW (All Elite Wrestling).
The Vs. System 2PCG AEW will release in a two-player starter box containing 200 cards, including 12 Main Characters and 28 Supporting Characters. The announcement stated that players can expect to see fan favorite AEW wrestlers such as Chris Jericho, Bryan Danielson, MJF, Jon Moxley, Sting, Darby Allin, Dr. Britt Baker, Jade Cargill, Kris Statlander, Thunder Rosa, Orange Cassidy and Malakai Black. The Vs. System 2PCG AEW set will include two team affiliations that can be used on their on or mixed into the Vs. System’s massive card pool for more complex games.
The set is expected to release in August 2023, just in time for Gen Con. No other details have been released at this time.
Relaunched in 2014 from the original V. System, the V. System 2PCG is a non-collectible format card game that players buy big box and small box expansions for to curate a massive “living” card pool. Players pick a singular main character to build their 60-card deck around, filling is with Support Characters, Plot Twists, Equipment, and Resource Locations.
