UVS Games Announces New ‘UniVersus’ Entries For 2024

Not content with just letting the year end on a quiet note, UVS Games have announced their line up for the rest of 2024 for the hit trading card game UniVersus.

Releasing October 11, the My Hero Academia: Dark Hero Arc Challenger Series deck brings the hit anime and manga series into UniVersus Challenger Series line for the first time. The deck includes a brand new, double-sided Deku character card and a complete 60-card deck. Additionally, as with all previous Challenger Series releases, the deck includes a special Collector Booster that contains 6 alternate art or foil cards.

UniVersus will then return to its fighting game roots with the release of the Tekken 8 Clash Decks on October 24. The Clash Deck line is meant as a great entry point for new players or players returning after some time away. There will be two decks, one featuring Jin Kazama and another with Jun Kazama, and contain a complete 60-card deck and learn-to-play guide.

On November 8, we will see the Attack on Titan: Origins of Power set hit the shelves. The second booster set following the initial Attack on Titan: Battle for Humanity release (August 16), Origins of Power expands on the characters and iconic moments of the manga brought to life on the tabletop.

Last, but certainly far from least, UniVersus takes to the stars with the Star Trek: Lower Decks Challenger Series deck releases on December 6. The four brand new Challenger Series decks feature the crew of the U.S.S. Cerritos, including Mariner, Boiler, Tendi and Rutherford. Each deck includes two playable characters, a 60-card deck, booklet, and a six card Collector Booster. The set will also feature the first ever lenticular cards in UniVersus. One of each of the character cards in the decks will have the treatment to show them beaming aboard the U.S.S. Ceritos.

Rather you are a fan of these IPs or trading card games in general, 2024 continues to be a banner year for UniVersus and UVS Games.
