Gen Con 2024 Shatters Records

Gen Con 2024 took place earlier this month in Indianapolis, Indiana.

From August 1st through August 4th, Indianapolis was home to more than 71,000 gamers. This number surpasses the previous record set in 2023 with just over 70,000 attendees. With over 24,000 events spread out across downtown Indianapolis and an exhibitor hall of over 540 booths, attendees had plenty to do and see during the “four greatest days in gaming”.

Additionally, Gen Con raised over $31,000 for the Rose Gauntlet Foundation and Tangram with help from the generous gamers in attendance. This brings Gen Con’s charitable donations to over $455,000 since moving to its present home in Indianapolis in 2003.

Gamers can begin planning there 2025 adventures as Gen Con has announced July 31 through August 3, 2025 as the next installment of the massive convention.
