The Rhino Charges Into ‘Marvel Crisis Protocol’

Atomic Mass Games have revealed the latest super-villain to join Marvel Crisis Protocol - The Rhino.

The Rhino originally debuted in October 1966 in the pages of The Amazing Spider-Man #41.

Atomic Mass Games have decided to go with the classic rendition of the character, as opposed to the more modern mechanical version from the Ultimate Spider-Man line of comics (and Amazing Spider-Man 2). That model looks absolutely amazing. The base looks to be the 65mm base, so he is on the same scale as the Hulk and Juggernaut.

According to the pre-order listing on Asmodee’s webstore, the Rhino offers players a powerful new model for Spider-Foes and Criminal Syndicate. Neither of those affiliations would be much of a surprised given the character’s history. Though he has been on the side of good once or twice throughout his life, including the Secret Defenders and S.H.I.E.L.D. They also note that the figure comes with three Team Tactic cards to “enhance Rhino’s abilities.” We are definitely curious how they are going to make him feel mechanically unique to existing big beaters, like Juggernaut.

The Rhino character back is currently available for pre-order, with a release planned for Q1 2023. The MSRP on it is $34.99.
