‘Chucky’ And Trick Or Treat Studios Want To Play
Trick or Treat Studios have announced another officially licensed game based on a horror movie icon, this time in the form of Chucky.
Following the previous releases of Halloween and Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Chucky will start 2024 off with a bang…or a stabbing.
In Chucky, players will have to survive long enough to solve the mysterious murders that have been occurring as of late. As they gather the evidence, they will unlock skills and abilities to help them survive encounters with the terror himself, Chucky. The homicidal doll will strike at the end of each round, with players needing to survive 3 rounds to end the game. The player who does the best to overcome the challenges of the game will be the winner.
The game includes a game board, 4 Survivor mats, 12 Survivor Stat cubes, 16 Survivor Time tokens, 16 Generic Time tokens, 45 Victim tokens, 30 Evidence cards, 21 Quirk cards, 8 Bloodlust cards, 6 Final Act cards, 4 six-sided dice, and a Chucky miniature.
Chucky is for 2 to 4 players, ages 14+, and plays in about an hour. The game is currently available for preorder via Trick or Treat Studios’ webstore and will retail for $59.95. The game is expected to begin shipping January 31, 2024.
