Union Arena Grows With ‘Sword Art Online’

Bandai has announced Sword Art Online for their latest trading card game Union Arena.

Announced via the Union Arena Twitter account, the new title for Sword Art Online appears to be taking place during the series’ initial adventures in Aincrad. While no date other than “Coming Soon” has been announced, it is safe to assume the release will feature both a starter deck and booster pack release like current entries into Union Arena are getting.

The trading card world is no stranger to the popular anime/manga series. Sword Art Online has been a fixture in the Weiss Schwarz series for years. It is exciting to see the IP branch out into other systems.
