Winter Is Coming In Knight Models’ ‘Game of Thrones’

Knight Models have officially began teasing their upcoming Game of Throne Miniatures Game.

The first model they have shown off is Kit Harington’s Jon Snow. Given that it is only a digital render, we’ll have to wait until actual models are seen but the detail and likeness is rather good. Knight Models have stated in their production material that this is based on the Game of Thrones television series from HBO as opposed to the books, so we hope all of the character likenesses are this good.

They haven’t given any more information as of yet beyond that. With CMoN having the mass battle game system covered with A Song of Ice and Fire, it is a safe bet that Knight Models will stick with what they do best and make this a 32mm skirmish game. A more intimate game of just a few models to play out the more personal battles across Westeros sounds like a winner to us, especially if/when the dragons show up.
