‘Disney Lorcana’ Heads ‘Into The Inklands’
Ravensburger have announced a brand new set for the massively popular Disney Lorcana called Into The Inklands.
Launching on February 23, 2024, Into the Inklands will introduce over 200 brand-new cards into the growing Disney Lorcana library for players. The new set will feature a new card type, Locations, that will allow players to visit classic Disney locations like Motonui from Moana or the Jolly Roger from Peter Pan. Another first for the trading card game will be the inclusion of flavor text across cards to let players follow the sprawling Lorcana narrative.
As with the previous expansion, Rise of the Floodborn, Disney Lorcana: Into the Inklands will feature the debut of several characters and stories from Disney. Pluto makes his Lorcana entrance alongside Perdita of 101 Dalmations fame. Fans of the Disney’s classic 90’s Saturday morning line-up will enjoy the arrival of DuckTales’ Scrooge McDuck and Kit Cloudkicker from Talespin. An underrated gem of 90’s Disney was Treasure Planet, and this new expansion will bring Jim Hawkins and the RLS Legacy crew to the tabletop next year.
The release of Into the Inklands will include two new stater decks, in the combinations of Amber/Emerald and Sapphire/Ruby, as well as a new Illumineers Trove and Gift Set. Additionally, players can theme their new decks with Card Sleeves, Playmats, Deck Boxes, and Card Portfolios featuring artwork from the cards found in Disney Lorcana: Into the Inklands.
