‘Cowboy Bebop: Roleplaying Game’ Brings The Real Folk Blues To The Tabletop
Mana Project Studio and Don’t Panic Games have launched the official Cowboy Bebop: Roleplaying Game on Kickstarter.
Set in the universe of the acclaimed anime, players take on the roles of Bounty Hunters as they track down the worst of the worst across the universe. The game’s Big Shot (the GM) helps drive the narrative and present the Bounty Hunters with their difficult choices and situations. The game is played over “Sessions”, with each one laid out like the beats of the original anime. Playtime will vary, but the average “Session” is 2-3 hours depending on the difficulty.
The game is available in three forms through the Kickstart- PDF, Hardcover, Deluxe Hardcover. The content is the same via all three formats. There are several add-ons already available through character dice and the GM/Big Shot Screen, with more dice and content being unlocked through stretch goals. As of this writing, they have surpassed their goal of $20,000 with a current total of $189,556.
