Classic Monsters Are Unleashed In Marvel: Crisis Protocol

Atomic Mass Games have announced some terrifying released for Marvel: Crisis Protocol, including an amazing terrain piece based on the Tomb of Dracula.

First up is the Marvel: Crisis Protocol - Monsters Unleashed Character Pack. Marvel Comics is known for having some of the most inventive reimagining classic characters from literature, and the monsters we grew up with are no exception. This set includes Dracula, Werewolf by Night, N’Kantu the Living Mummy, and Frankenstein’s Monster. Four of the greatest supernatural based characters in the Marvel Universe together in a single box.

The set also includes a One-Shot Card, 4 Character Stat Cards, 4 Team Tactic Cards, various tokens, and an insert. It is currently available for preorder via the Asmodee webstore or your local gaming store and will retail for $59.99 when it releases November 1.

Any good horror movie needs a good setting, and Atomic Mass Games have delivered that with the Tomb of Dracula.

The Marvel: Crisis Protocol - Tomb of Dracula Terrain Pack features a massive piece of Dracula’s iconic gothic castle. A ruin of a bygone era before superheroes were the dominant power, Dracula’s castle stood as a reminder that he was at the top of the food chain. Now all that remains is a spiral staircase and his portrait etched in stained-glass overlooking Dracula’s resting place. The playable piece of terrain makes for a beautiful diorama piece when paired with the Monsters Unleashed character pack.

The terrain pack also includes 2 One-Shot cards for alternate game rules. It is available for preorder from the Asmodee webstore and local game stores, and will retail for $119.99 when it releases on November 1.

With Halloween right around the corner, this would be the perfect project to work on with some of the classic Universal Monster films playing in the background, or the Werewolf by Night special on Disney+. We said elsewhere that these are the kinds of releases for Marvel: Crisis Protocol that get us truly excited for the game and we cannot wait to see what else is in the game’s future.
